PERFORM® PA8222 Drainage Aid For Tissue

PRODUCT APPLICATION

PerForm® PA8222 is typically prepared using an automatic dry make down unit. Typical solution concentration is 0.1-0.2% by weight. Fresh, clean dilution water not exceeding 45°C, should be used for optimum results. Low speed mechanical agitation (400 rpm) should continue until complete dissolution is accomplished (typically 60-75 minutes). It is recommended that dilute solutions be used within 24 hours for optimum performance. Positive displacement pumps, such as gear or progressive cavity should be used to transfer the made down polymer solution to the point of further dilution and application. PerForm® PA8222 should be diluted to at least 0.05% by weight just prior to the feed injection point.

Proper treatment levels and application points for PerForm® PA8222 depend on such factors as machine type, furnish, chemical additives, operating conditions etc. Your Hercules representative can help to optimize application point and addition levels.
