PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND USE

ProSoftTM TQ1003 is a cationic softening agent that acts as a debonder in the production of paper products. It has particular utility in bath and facial grades where it affords the papermaker with the following benefits:

PRODUCT APPLICATION

ProSoftTM TQ1003 debonder  is typically  applied at  a rate between 0.5 and 20 pounds per ton as received. Ultimate dosage requirements will be influenced by the particular furnish components, grade, creping package employed and overall finished product objectives.

ProSoftTM TQ1003 should be pre-diluted to a concentration between 1% and 5% before adding to the papermaking system. The typical addition location is to thick stock at a point of good mixing. Your local Hercules Sales Representative can provide more details on design and implementation of effective delivery systems.

ProSoftTM TQ1003 is compatible with most wet end additives and commercial creping packages. However, specific applications should be discussed with your local Hercules Sales Representative to verify your particular application requirements.

For bulk storage, High Density Cross-linked Polyethylene or Stainless Steel (316) tanks are recommended. All piping and valves should be constructed of 316 SS.
