REZOSOL® 6401

Crepe Control Additive for the Tissue Industry

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND USE

Rezosol® 6401 is an additive designed to be used as part of a crepe control package during the manufacture of soft tissue.

Rezosol 6401 is a carefully optimised blend of phosphorous compounds for application to the Yankee cylinder. When used in combination with other additives from the Hercules range of crepe control products Rezosol 6401 can be used to achieve improved crepe control and sheet profile. As a phosphorous based additive Rezosol 6401 will also help to protect the Yankee cylinder surface and reduce doctor blade wear.

PRODUCT  APPLICATION

Rezosol 6401 should be used in combination with adhesives, coating modifiers and release agents from the Hercules range of crepe control products to achieve maximum control over tissue quality and cylinder protection.

Rezosol 6401 should be dosed in water through a spray bar onto the surface of the Yankee cylinder. The required dosage can be optimised in conjunction with your local Hercules representative.

Rezosol 6401 has a minimum recommended shelf life of 6 months when stored between 5°C and 32°C in unopened containers

Rezosol 6041 is to be used in accordance with control procedures Hercules establishes for a specific application.

FDA STATUS

Rezosol 6401 is in compliance with requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug administration for use in materials contacting foods as specified in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, subject to the limitations and requirements of each regulation under the following section(s):

176.170 (components of paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty foods).

176.180 (components of paper and paperboard in contact with dry food).

BgVV STATUS

Rezosol 6401 is made of components suitable for use in the production of paper or paperboard for food packaging purposes according to the XXXVI recommendation of BgVV
